FIG Partners Now Offers Whole Loan Trading Services To Banks

ATLANTA, Dec. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FIG Partners, one of the nation's premier investment banking and research firms specializing in community banks, today announced the launch of whole loan trading capabilities for small- to mid-tier banks.

With FIG's whole loan trading capabilities, banks now have a strategic partner that can help manage their bank portfolios.  FIG Partners will buy or sell performing and non-performing CRE, residential, consumer and other types of loans for banks and investors.

To run its new loan trading operations, FIG Partners hired Senior Vice President Amy Boothe-Fuentes, a financial services executive with more than 20 years of experience. Boothe-Fuentes has managed or traded a wide range of loan portfolios, including non-agency mortgage, asset-backed and commercial-backed securities, as well as both performing and non-performing whole loan mortgage pools.

Boothe-Fuentes will work with Chris Wood, head whole loan trader for FIG Partners.  Wood has been part of the FIG Partners Fixed Income team for the past five years and has played a key role in building the firm's Fixed Income platform.

Before joining FIG Partners, Boothe-Fuentes was a Principal at Auster Financial. Earlier in her career, she worked for AllianceBernstein, SunTrust Capital Markets and MetLife Financial Acceptance Corp.  She has a BBA in Accounting from University of Georgia and earned an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
