FiLife.com Appoints Adam Wiener as General Manager

NEW YORK, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- FiLife.com, a joint venture of Dow Jones / IAC [Nasdaq: IAC] today announced the appointment of Adam Wiener as General Manager and Executive Editor of FiLife.com.  Formerly Executive Editor and Vice President of Content at FiLife.com, Mr. Wiener will have primary responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the business, with the goal of expanding the reach of the FiLife question and answer platform. Mr. Wiener succeeds Ezra Kucharz, the former President and General Manager of FiLife.com.

Additionally, Dominic Preuss has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Product and Technology for FiLife.com. Mr. Preuss previously served as FiLife.com's Vice President of Product and Technology.

FiLife.com has maintained a rapid ascent of growth since its launch in mid-2008 to become one of the premier personal finance Web sites.  It is now ranked fourth in the personal finance site category with more than 4 million monthly unique visitors. (comScore, 12/09)

Prior to joining FiLife.com in April 2009 he held executive positions within NBC Universal, as Chief Operating Officer of driverTV and as Senior Vice President of Search, Commerce and Business Development for iVillage Properties.  Mr. Wiener was General Manager of Healthology, the leading online health video company purchased by iVillage in 2005.  He held various positions within CBS, including as a Senior Television Broadcast Producer for CBS News and as Executive Producer of CBSNews.com.  He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
