Finalists for 12th Annual SMA Manager & Strategist of the Year Awards Announced

CHICAGO, April 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Envestnet, Inc. (NYSE: ENV) and Investment Advisor magazine have partnered to choose the finalists for the 12^th Annual Separately Managed Account (SMA) Manager and Strategist of the Year Awards. The awards honor best-in-class portfolio managers and will be presented during the 2016 Envestnet Advisor Summit, which is taking place from May 18-20 at the Hilton Chicago (http://www.envestnet.com/advisorsummit).

A single Manager of the Year will be selected from among the category winners as a model of investment management excellence. Investment Advisor will feature all of the winners in its July 2016 issue.

To qualify for an SMA Manager and Strategist of the Year Award, a manager is required to have a management team with at least three years of experience running a strategy that has a minimum of $200 million in assets. In addition, its product must be reported through Envestnet | PMC's research application. PMC's Premium Research solutions are leading sources of investment manager due diligence and research applications for advisors.

The award finalists were chosen using Envestnet | PMC's systematic, proprietary, and multi-factor evaluation methodology. This framework takes into consideration a variety of quantitative and qualitative criteria, including performance, firm profile, investment process and style, customer service, composite, and tax efficiency.
