Financial Times Magazine Names Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins Among the 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers for 2017
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins (Hewins) announced today that it has been named to the Financial Times' list of the 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers (RIAs) for 2017. In this recognition, the national, CPA-based financial advisory firm joins an elite group of independent RIA firms from across the United States.
Placement in the FT 300 is yet another milestone in a year of continued progress and development for Hewins, which manages approximately $4.4 billion in total assets under management (AUM). Since its inception in 1999, Hewins has become a leader in the CPA-based wealth management space, focused on delivering an integrated service approach that ensures a more holistic, seamless experience for clients. Due to its strategic affiliations with some of the industry's top accounting and consulting firms, such as Wipfli LLP, Hewins has established a robust presence in the Midwest and on both coasts, which allows its advisors to meet the needs of a broader client base.
"Though our team and breadth of capabilities have evolved over the past nineteen years, our commitment to our clients, their best interests and financial goals has remained consistent," says Martha Post, principal and chief operating officer (COO) for Hewins. "We are honored to be recognized by the Financial Times for our work with clients, alongside some of the most respected firms within the RIA space."
To be eligible for the FT 300, advisory firms — which were ranked in no particular order — were required to meet a minimum set of criteria, and were then graded on six factors: assets under management (AUM); AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials of the firm's advisors; online accessibility; and compliance records. There are no fees or other considerations required of RIAs that apply for the FT 300. The survey and ranking were produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the magazine that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry.
