Fino Names Mindy Yang Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK, Nov. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Fino, an IT consulting firm specializing in enterprise application design, development and consulting services announced today that it has hired Mindy Yang as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).  As COO, Ms. Yang will lead strategies in client relations, new business development, marketing, project management and day-to-day operations.

Ms. Yang has almost two decades of operational experience at international professional services organizations, including Ernst & Young LLP, KMPG Consulting and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she held various roles in engagement management, financial reporting, planning and analysis, employee relations, recruiting and business development. 

At Skadden, Ms. Yang most recently served as the primary lead for the global litigation and controversy practice areas where her responsibilities included providing strategic guidance in business development initiatives, plans and programs.  Prior to that, she supervised the implementation of diversity initiatives involving training, associate relations, client relations and law student recruiting.  She has worked closely with minority law student associations including BLSA, APALSA, LaLSA and LGBT student groups and is currently active in a number of women in business organizations throughout New York City.  Her steadfast commitment to promoting diversity in professional services and separately, support of philanthropic programs is exemplified in her work with student pipeline groups as well as charitable foundations.
