FIRJAN brings integrated solutions for the offshore market to the OTC Houston
Resources can reduce time, costs and promote integration for the Oil and Gas industries
RIO DE JANEIRO, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sistema Firjan, through the SENAI in Rio, is presenting this year, during the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) that will take place between May 6 and 9 in Houston, in the US, integrated solutions in union of materials and inspection, mitigation of risks and environmental management, mathematical modeling and systems of virtual simulation both local and remote applied to the offshore market. The solutions will be presented with the use of an interactive table available in a stand in the Brazilian Pavilion.
The integrated solutions are offered by the SENAI Centers of Technology in Environment, Welding, Automation and Simulation, which have specific portfolios for their areas of expertise, but also offer the possibility of integrated solutions that reduce time and costs and enable a broad view and a better management of the project, aside from maximizing the expertise and the result of the applied solution.
For the demonstration in the stand, the cases selected are real demands that an FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) platform will require in the stages of project, building and operation. The simulation enables the identification of the best ways for the discard, accomplishing mitigation and a better environmental management.

This is the second consecutive year in which the FIRJAN System has a stand in the OTC, the most important event in the world for the development of offshore resources in the fields of perforation, exploration, production and environmental protection.
