Firm of Owens & Miller Receives NC Lawyers Weekly Highest Honor for Top Settlements Two Years Straight
For the 2nd Consecutive Year, NC Lawyers Weekly Has Listed an O&M Case as One of the Largest Verdicts/Settlements in NC
RALEIGH, N.C., June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Owens & Miller is proud to announce that for the 2nd year in a row, an Owens & Miller case has qualified for the NC Lawyers Weekly's statewide million dollar settlements or verdicts publication. On Feb. 13, 2017, NC Lawyers Weekly published their list of the state's largest settlements in 2016, which listed 18 cases in the entire state in which the lawyers recovered more than $1 million. The list featured one of O&M's successful cases, a $1.85 million settlement from the spring of 2016. The settlement was listed in the edition as the 13th largest settlement in NC. In 2015, NC Lawyers Weekly featured an O&M $1.5 million case on the Top 25 largest verdicts/settlements in the same list.
