First Investors Names New Executive to Oversee Marketing and Originations

HOUSTON, April 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- First Investors Financial Services Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: FIFS) announced today that it had named industry veteran David L. Satterfield to the new position of Senior Vice President – Marketing and Originations and Co-Chief Operating Officer.  In his role, Mr. Satterfield will be responsible for both direct and indirect marketing, credit underwriting, funding and direct call center operations for the Company.

Prior to joining First Investors, Mr. Satterfield held senior leadership positions at Triad Financial, CitiFinancial Auto, Auto One Acceptance and Bank of America. He brings over 20 years experience in automobile lending and marketing to First Investors, where he will serve as a member of the Company's executive management team.
