Militello lives and works in New York City - by day leading a creative group at Google, and nights and weekends he enjoys time with his wife Michelle and their two young daughters. He purchased the innovative RoundTail® because he wanted a unique and comfortable ride to and from his office 10 miles from his home.
"The look of the RoundTail® is what first enticed me to purchase this bike," said Militello. "The bike is a joy to ride and very comfortable. I've been getting lots of envious looks in the company bike room! I rode my new RoundTail® to work the day after receiving it. Itʼs amazing how a new and revolutionary bike can encourage you to ride more, especially when you look good and feel good doing it."
Militello further stated, "Iʼm lucky that my employer encourages us to use self powered transportation when ever possible. I love that my new RoundTail® expresses my alignment with my companyʼs culture of sustainability and innovation."
"I am humbled that my RoundTail® design is now present in the streets of New York City," Tortola stated proudly, "and even more so knowing that someone working for a company whose culture I hold in the highest regard appreciates the RoundTail®. This is proof that pursuing your dreams can make them a reality," Tortola added.
The RoundTail® design removes the standard seat stay, chain stay and seat tube of the typical diamond-shaped bike design and, instead, two rings support the weight of the rider. This revolutionary new design creates a vertically compliant, laterally stiff ride with numerous benefits. The unique design of the RoundTail® eliminates jarring road vibrations to a significant degree, increasing comfort, the length of individual rides and the number of years people can enjoy cycling.
