FirstBank Announces New Location In Aurora

LAKEWOOD, Colo., May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FirstBank Holding Company, the Lakewood-based holding company for the second largest bank by deposits in Colorado and largest locally owned bank, today announced a new location at 25541 E. Smoky Hill Road in Aurora. The bank purchased and built the new 4,124 sq. ft. building, which opened on May 1.

FirstBank will also host a special grand opening with Channel 93.3 KTCL at the new location from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 10. Area residents who visit the branch during the event will receive free food and drinks from Jim 'N Nick's Community BAR-B-Q and a chance to win several Samsung Galaxy Tab 3s.

Cleve Wortham will serve as the Arapahoe County Market President overseeing the new branch. Banking Officer Andrew Watson will also manage the bank's day-to-day operations. FirstBank relocated employees from its nearby locations to staff the new branch. Additional FirstBank locations are planned for the remainder of 2014 in Fort Collins, South Denver and the newly renovated Union Station.

The new location meets green, Energy Star requirements. It'll offer a full range of checking and savings accounts, including Free Checking and Free Business Checking. FirstBank offers its eSave account package, which automatically transfers 1 cent up to $99.99 to customers' savings account each time they use a debit card, pay a bill electronically or transfer funds. The branch will also offer mortgages, home equity loans and a full range of commercial loans and business accounts and services.

Customers who receive FirstBank's "treasure chest key" mailer or visit the new branch from May 1 through July 1, 2014 will be entered to win one of three cash prizes, including a grand prize of $1,500.

The new branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday (drive thru opens weekdays at 8:30 a.m.), and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. FirstBank customers will also have the benefit of a 24-hour ATM, telephone banking and Free Internet Banking with eStatements at www.efirstbank.com.
