FirstElement Names KGPR To Handle Media Inquiries
IRVINE, Calif., June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FirstElement Fuel, which is developing the world's first retail hydrogen-fueling network, has selected Kermish-Geylin Public Relations to handle media inquiries and communications, according to Joel Ewanick, FirstElement's chief executive officer.
"We -- the principals Dr. Tim Brown, Dr. Shane Stephens and me -- need to concentrate on getting the network established, which is getting quite time and labor intensive. And we realized we could use some help in fielding the ever-increasing volume of media questions," explained Ewanick. "I've known Mike (Geylin) for some 20 years, having worked with from the earliest days of my career (at Porsche), so his team seemed like a natural fit for us."
Operating in California and New England, the KGPR FirstElement team will be led by Michael Geylin, agency principal, and Lee Morrell, account supervisor.
FirstElement's goal is to provide a seamless, no-compromise driving experience for customers of all-electric fuel cell vehicles by creating a network of hydrogen stations. The company is starting in California where automakers including Toyota, Honda, Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai are commercializing fuel cell vehicles.
FirstElement's hydrogen network will initially be focused in California's San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles regions with a few access points located at connectors and destinations to enable driving throughout the state.
