Fishfishme, Inc. Chooses New Orleans To Launch U.S. Operations

NEW ORLEANS, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fishfishme, Inc., today announces that it will now call New Orleans, Louisiana home as it enters the US market.  Founded in 2012, Fishfishme aims to make the charter fishing industry more accessible than ever before and allows consumers to find and book charter fishing trips around the world using its online platform at Fishfishme.com.

Fishfishme currently offers its services in over twenty countries around the world and will now operate out of regional offices in New Orleans, Louisiana, Malaga, Spain and Dubai, UAE.  As the company sought to establish a U.S. base of operations and provide exposure for a historically underexposed industry, Louisiana and New Orleans quickly proved to be idyllic locations.  The state is home to some of the most plentiful fisheries in the nation and offers a robust lineup of professional and experienced charter captains.  The city of New Orleans was able to provide the business services and infrastructure required of a young, international company and place Fishfishme within a growing city center and relatively stable economy. 

The company has procured space at Launch Pad, a collaborative workspace catering to developing and dynamic organizations, within the New Orleans Central Business District (CBD.)   The company was recently funded by angel investors and selected to attend the Blackbox Connect seminar, which was sponsored by Google for Entrepreneurs and held in Palo Alto, California this March.
