Fishidy and Nukru Partnership Brings Ryple Bug Hatch Forecast Data to Fishidy Platform

ORLANDO, Fla., July 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In a move to broaden the Midwest based Fishidy platform and attract more stream fishermen to the Fishidy ecosystem, the company has partnered with South Bend, Indiana-based Nukru to utilize their Ryple web service for bug hatch prediction capabilities across 8,000 United States streams.  The partnership provides a first in the industry by leveraging the existing waterway logging and discovery functionality within the Fishidy site with the stream-based, hatch prediction functionality offered by the Ryple data platform.

Offered as a paid web service with a free companion iOS mobile app, Ryple leverages the optimal intersection of water depth, local barometric pressure, and tidal influence to determine what day/hour and U.S. stream contains the proper conditions for hatches to occur in the coming week.  This knowledge allows fly fishermen using the Fishidy website the ability to proactively plan their schedule a week in advance around the optimal time(s) and stream location(s) defined in the system.

Free Fishidy members can view the current day's scoring for a specific stream, but will need to pay to view the 7-day scoring functionality.
