The name change was brought about due to the company's acquisition of the highly respected brand Natural Fitness, along with the 'pivotal' turn the company has made in terms of growth. Pivotal 5 has continued to expand in many ways, having grown 70% in just the last year, and also through the key development of innovative and original products, including its Rejuvenation Prevention & Rehabilitation brand.
Business growth has been spearheaded by Adam Schumacher, President & CEO of Pivotal 5, who has been guiding the overall vision and company strategy since 2002. Aiding him is new COO Dave Rossi, who lends his 25+ years of expertise in the Sporting Goods Industry and is charged with helping Pivotal 5 develop new products while implementing efficient operations to handle the rapid company expansion. Nicole Schumacher, EVP of Marketing, rounds out the executive team and is the driving force behind Pivotal 5's strategic brand building and marketing initiatives.
To celebrate the turning point the company experienced in its 5th year of operation, wherein Pivotal 5 experienced a monumental leap in familiarity, product offering, and customer loyalty, the company thought it fitting to include the number 5 in the new name.
Pivotal 5 will continue to serve Fitness Manufacturing Partners' customers and retain the same office, distribution center location, and contact information; only the corporate name will change to Pivotal 5. The company will also remain a privately owned and operated entity under the same management team.
