Five Lawyers from Houston's Arnold & Itkin Earn Place on Texas Rising Stars List

HOUSTON, March 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Five lawyers from the Houston civil litigation firm Arnold & Itkin LLP have earned a place on the 2014 Texas Rising Stars listing of the top young lawyers in the state.

Honored this year are Cory Itkin, Paul Skrabanek, Michael E. Pierce, Ryan Grant and Noah Wexler. All were chosen for their work in personal injury cases except Mr. Skrabanek, who was recognized for his general litigation work. All five previously have been named to the Rising Stars list, which is based on peer nominations and careful analysis of each attorney's work.

All of the lawyers represent plaintiffs in injury cases. Cory Itkin and Mike Pierce have won more than a dozen jury trials in excess of a million dollars. Both lawyers have been recognized among the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Texas" by the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Skrabanek, Mr. Wexler and Mr. Grant also have equally impressive track records. Each of them has won several multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements since joining the firm.

Texas Rising Stars honorees are chosen by Thomson Reuters' legal division, recognizing the best lawyers age 40 or under or those who have practiced law no more than 10 years.
