Fleet Owner 500 Award Finalists Named

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Eighteen truck fleets drawn from nine distinct industry segments are in the running for the first-ever Fleet Owner 500 Awards. The "Fleet Owner 500" list is an exclusive industry ranking of the largest private fleets operating in the U.S. The detailed ranking is published every year in February.

To honor advances and innovation in private fleet operations across the country, Fleet Owner is holding its inaugural "Fleet Owner 500 Awards" ceremony on September 26 in conjunction with the North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) exposition in Atlanta, GA.

The nine categories from which the finalists are being selected from are:

Fleet Owner's analysts and editorial board selected the finalists from the "Fleet Owner 500" list – choosing from among the top private fleets, based on industry sector, those that demonstrated excellence in operations, executive strategy, and innovation.
