Fleishman-Hillard Inc. Wins Judges' Choice and Five Additional Public Relations Awards

CLEVELAND, Dec. 6, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleishman-Hillard Inc. won six awards, including Judges' Choice, at the 8th Annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Greater Cleveland Chapter's Cleveland Rocks! Awards ceremony on Friday, Dec. 3, for its work promoting the 2014 Gay Games and campaigns for the Ohio Department of Health and MedImmune.

Fleishman-Hillard's Cleveland office was recognized at the PRSA awards ceremony on Friday, Dec. 3. The firm earned three awards for the communications campaign that helped Synergy Foundation secure the winning bid for the 2014 Gay Games for Cleveland. The Gay Games team received gold awards in the public service and integrated communications categories, along with the Judges' Choice award.

An additional gold award was presented to the firm for its public service announcement for the Ohio Department of Health's (ODH) Healthy Ohio "Play More" campaign, a program designed to help fight childhood obesity in Ohio.

The firm also earned silver awards for its work on "ButtOut Ohio," a campaign sponsored by the ODH to address the alarming rate of tobacco use among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth in Ohio, and for media relations around the launch of "Don't Play with the Flu," a national influenza vaccination awareness campaign sponsored by MedImmune.
