Flexpoint Announces Follow up Orders for Universal Sensor

DRAPER, Utah, Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) http://www.flexpoint.com today announced they have received additional orders for their universal sensor.  We have received additional orders from Intertek Industrial Corp., HTK Engineering LLC, and Card Access for universal sensors. We will begin production of the sensors and then follow with assembly of the sensors into the universal sensor.  Production of the sensors and delivery of the orders is expected to take place during the first quarter of this year.

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint stated, "We are excited to be able to announce receipt of these additional orders.  One order, for 500 sensors, is the largest single order we have received to date.  We also have received orders for 40 and 25 universal sensors as well. Our customers now include companies in the following industries; automobiles, trucking, busing, emergency vehicles, taxi cabs, public transportation, military and other governmental entities.  As anticipated, the company is beginning to see a more sizeable impact on revenue from these sales and expects the trend to continue and escalate during 2012 and beyond."
