Flexpoint Announces New Advancements with HTK Engineering

DRAPER, Utah, April 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) http://www.flexpoint.com today announced that they have been notified of progress in the marketing efforts of HTK Engineering, LLC, (HTKengineering.com). All HTK Anti-rollaway Braking Safety Systems utilize Flexpoint sensor technology in their safety product for large trucks. The initial application is for garbage collection vehicles but the system is adaptable to all large trucks.

Tom Accardi, President and founder of HTK Engineering stated, "HTK Engineering has recently presented their Anti-rollaway Braking Safety System to several of the largest national operators of refuse collection systems in the US.  We have been commissioned to install our Anti-rollaway Braking Safety System in a number of their trucks.  Upon successful conclusion of these trials, at least one major Company has indicated that they will require the installation and use of the system in all of their new and operating trucks.  We believe that this process should be completed by mid-summer.  HTK is excited for this opportunity and looks forward to successful completion of the field assessment."  He added, "We are pleased to be involved with Flexpoint on this system, and are thrilled that all of the system components are made in America."
