(FLXT) is pleased to announce it has recently received production Purchase Orders from ZeroUI, a CES 2016 award-winning developer of Ziro – an exciting modular robotics toy kit which leverages wireless and mobile technologies and a Bend Sensor®-driven, wearable glove technology.
ZeroUI is a dynamic company and pushing boundaries in the development of natural interface technologies in HCI (Human-Computer Interface) markets. These technologies have wide ranging applications in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and Wearables. ZeroUI has a number of technology product plans for the present and future. Ziro is the result of a long-term development effort by a former Purdue University professor. The Ziro robotics kit is made up of individual modules that are controlled by a uniquely designed, wireless smart glove comprised of, among other things, a custom Bend Sensor®. A mobile app connects the robot to the smart glove, and the user can program hand gestures to control the robot without any coding.
