FLIO App Lands at AIRMALL Boston for Traveler Convenience
--App Provides Airport Information, access to official Wi-Fi and Shopping, Dining Perks--
BOSTON, Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- AIRMALL at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is partnering with FLIO, a global airport app that will provide travelers with instant access to enter the world of BOS and beyond with vital airport information to exclusive shopping and dining offers. FLIO brings one-click access to official free Wi-Fi at 400 airports, including 50 U.S. airports and live information about arrival, departures times and gates at 900 airports, and is continually extending its capabilities.
"AIRMALL continues to enhance the traveling experience by embracing tech innovations like FLIO that make travel more convenient and rewarding," said Michael Caro, vice president of AIRMALL Boston. "We are excited to partner with FLIO to offer an opportunity for travelers to experience all that AIRMALL Boston has to offer, and also put global airport information at their fingertips."
Once activated, new FLIO users join an established group of international travelers already using the app as a one-stop shop for information, including listings of retail shops, restaurants and amenities, and other fly-worthy perks. FLIO offers hints and tips about airports, and money-saving deals with the ability to purchase airport services within the app.
AIRMALL Boston shops in terminals B and E are offering special discounts for new FLIO users, ranging from 25 percent off any purchase at Metalsmiths Sterling, 10 percent off meals at Vineyard Grille and Cisco Brew Pub, $5 off any purchase of $45 at Be Relax, and 10 percent off any two fragrances at International Shoppes.
"AIRMALL has been quick to spot the opportunity and its potential in reaching and enhancing services for an international audience," said Andy Watson, CRO and co-founder, FLIO. "Airports recognize the value of a full-fledged app solution that not only reaches their own customer base, it provides access to travelers from all over the world. FLIO is that one app for all airports." The free app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
