Floor & Décor To Anchor New Retail Center On Rte 1 In Woodbridge, N.J.

WOODBRIDGE, N.J., Nov. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A Floor & Décor superstore will anchor Richmond Plaza, a newly proposed shopping center located at the signalized intersection of Route 1 South and Route 35 (St. George Ave.) in Woodbridge, according to R.J. Brunelli & Co., LLC, exclusive leasing agent for the property. As planned, the site will house two buildings with a total of approximately 94,200 square feet of space.

Floor & Décor's third New Jersey store will occupy a 74,200-square-foot freestanding building feet at the  site, where construction is expected to begin next spring. Developer Mocci Industries of Woodbridge anticipates that tenants should begin opening in the fourth quarter of 2017.

R.J. Brunelli also announced that an initial lease for the property's smaller 20,000-square-foot building is out for signature with Metro Diner for approximately 4,000 square feet, leaving approximately 16,000 square feet available. The Old Bridge, N.J.-based retail real estate brokerage is seeking additional foodservice tenants for the balance of the space, including a full-service restaurant (with liquor license available), said Bill Lenaz, Principal/Executive VP.

Located within the super-regional trade area anchored by Woodbridge Center mall, Richmond Plaza will serve a primary market of approximately 134,200 residents with an average household income of $91,800 within three miles and an overall five-mile market of approximately 343,500 residents with an average household income of $91,300. Passed by an average of 53,458 cars per day on Route 1 and 31,463 cars on St. George Ave., the site is also accessible to a daytime population of approximately 139,000 within a five-mile radius.
