Florida Engineering Group CEO Joins the South Orange Chamber Board of Directors

ORLANDO, Fla., June 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Engineering Group (FEG) announced today that its President and CEO, Sam J. Sebaali, P.E., was elected to the South Orange Chamber's Board of Directors this past January. Sebaali brings to the table extensive business and professional experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering and Land Development.

An avid supporter of the revitalization of Downtown South Orlando, Sebaali hopes his land development experience and business insight will be valuable in helping with economic development in the South Orange Community.  Sebaali and FEG's involvement in the City of Edgewood and the South Orange Community led them to host a Business After Hours event, with involvement from Downtown South Orlando and the Orange County Chamber, on Wednesday, May 23rd.

The networking events provided an opportunity for community members to enjoy food and drinks while touring the engineering firm's office. In attendance were members of the community of Downtown South, the South Orange Chamber, Susan Fernandez, Regional Director for Senator Marco Rubio's office and Mayor Ray Bagshaw of the City of Edgewood. "The City of Edgewood is fortunate to have a professional Engineering firm like FEG located here that is so supportive of Edgewood, its residents and business owners.  Hosting this event is just one example of their generosity.  FEG has been awarded the contract to provide engineering services for our city and I look forward to working with Sam and his team," Bagshaw stated.

Sebaali indicated that "being part of the South Orange Business Chamber and the Downtown South Orlando is a great way to be connected with the community and be involved in the efforts to revitalize the South Orlando business district and the City of Edgewood."  

At the networking event, Sebaali also presented a $600 check to the Susan G. Komen foundation from the company's victory at Downtown South's Jingle Jam Gingerbread House Competition." I hope that this small financial contribution will help in the fight against breast cancer," said Sebaali.
