Florida MMTC Institute Releases Amendment 2 Whitepaper and Announces Marijuana Industry Seminars in Miami and Jacksonville

MIAMI, Aug. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Florida MMTC Institute's Regulatory, Industry and Business Seminars are a popular starting point for entrepreneurs, investors, doctors, lawyers and pharmacy owners who are in the planning stage of entering Florida's emerging medical marijuana industry. The Institute is now offering two new seminars -- on August 23 in downtown Miami and September 6 in downtown Jacksonville.

Growing confidence in Amendment 2 -- now polling well over 80% statewide in Florida -- has encouraged entrepreneurs to seek high-quality business education that will prepare them to capture a share of what could be a multi-billion dollar industry in Florida.

The Florida MMTC Institute has fielded questions for months regarding the language of Amendment 2 and and how it might compare to other medical marijuana states. To address these questions, the Institute commissioned Paul Armentano, deputy director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) and nationally recognized marijuana policy expert, to author a whitepaper.
