FlowWorks Launches in Cincinnati - Helps Manage Environmental Data for the Municipality

SEATTLE, Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Cincinnati is the latest municipality to join FlowWorks.  Beginning immediately, the city is moving its environmental monitoring data onto the FlowWorks web platform where it can be securely stored, edited, analyzed and turned into actionable information.

In the fall of 2010, ADS Environmental Services, a flow monitoring company, was bidding for services to Cincinnati and asked FlowWorks to join them to provide data management.  ADS had previously enjoyed a successful partnership with FlowWorks on behalf of the City of Seattle, and knew that FlowWorks would help deliver superior quality data, while saving time and money in the process.

ADS was selected, with FlowWorks as their partner for data management, to provide Cincinnati with flow services for capital improvement and other modeling projects.  Included are flow servicing, data management and QA/QC for over 200 monitoring stations.  The data is being uploaded directly to FlowWorks, where it will be combined with other Cincinnati environmental data including historic flow metering stations, rain gauges, SCADA pump stations, and combined sewer overflow (CSO) and storm sewer overflow (SSO) sites.
