SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- According to a 2015 study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, more than half of the average person's waking hours are spent sitting. The number of hours we sit each day is negatively impacting our health, even if we are exercising regularly. The study found that people who sit for prolonged periods of time had a higher risk of dying from illnesses like cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and cancer.1
