FMN International Delivers U.S. Department of State Cargo in Eastern Europe
FMN International's 3PL division executes milestone deliveries in Moldova
CHISINAU, Moldova, May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FMN International, Inc. a leading third party logistics provider (3PL), today announced that it has completed cargo deliveries on behalf of the U.S. Department of State (DOS) in Moldova, a landlocked nation between Romania and Ukraine.
The consignment was managed by FMN's Bosnia office and delivered from the Giurgiulesti port to a U.S. diplomatic post in Chisinau.
"I'm exceptionally proud of this milestone for us especially given recent developments in the region," said Harry Eustace, Jr., CEO of FMN International. "We have been proactively expanding our 3PL footprint beyond Central Asia & Afghanistan for the last 2 years now. To execute this shipment on-time and within budget for the U.S. State Department's Moldova post once again demonstrates FMN's field logisticians as some of the best in the industry, especially given the unique challenges associated with these types of movements."
FMN International plans to continue and expand its 3PL operations throughout Eastern Europe in the coming months to meet the increasing demand of a changing security and diplomatic landscape in the region.
