FMN Logistics Launches Additional Service Offerings on Inbound KKT Routes
FMN expands its substantial Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan (KKT) freight forwarding presence with more inbound KKT services
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- FMN Logistics today released an updated offering of inbound freight forwarding services on the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan (KKT) route, adding to its already substantial inbound and reverse KKT services for US and ISAF Forces operating in Afghanistan.
The expanded service offerings include the ability to move 20 and 40 foot containers, as well as out of gauge shipments on low-bed trailers from Bishkek's Alamedin Rail Station to the Tajikistan-Afghanistan Border at Sherkhan-Bandar. FMN additionally arranges all transit customs formalities and escorts for all shipments from Bishkek up to the Afghan border.
To implement these amplified service offerings, FMN has added capacity and personnel all along its KKT routing corridor from Bishkek Alamedin to Sherkhan Bandar. "This was about us listening to our customers' demands for alternative routings to the heavily trafficked Uzbekistan GLOC, and looking at the bigger picture throughout the region," said Dave O'Connor, FMN's Chief Operating Officer. All trucking / handling rates based on local standard equipment that has passed basic operation and HSE audits by FMN, and is equipped with all regulatory paperwork and permits required by the laws of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
