Foley Announces Partnership with KeepTruckin
The Google Ventures backed company is a developer of innovative, hours of service technology.
HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Foley, a leading provider of compliance solutions for the transportation industry, has partnered with KeepTruckin, a Google Ventures-backed provider of electronic logging devices (ELDs). "This partnership brings together the key competencies of two industry leaders in transportation compliance," Foley CEO Joel Sitak said. "With our compliance expertise and their technology, we're now able to provide our customers with some of the most robust, affordable and easy-to-use programs on the market today."
Foley spent almost a year vetting ELD providers to find the best solution for their customers. This process allowed them to try a variety of different options and better understand the features they were looking for in a product. This led them to KeepTruckin: a technological leader that developed a solution that was both fully-compliant and easy to use. "They are currently the only FMCSA-certified ELD vendor with a product available for purchase," Sitak said. "And with more positive reviews than any other hours of service app in the Google Play and Apple Store, it's clear the technology is resonating well with users."
Through this partnership, both Foley and KeepTruckin are able to provide their customers with a more comprehensive – and affordable – hours of service and IFTA solution than would be possible independently. One of these solutions is full IFTA data collection and management – a service that combines the technological capabilities of the KeepTruckin ELD with the compliance support of Foley. "KeepTruckin is excited to partner with Foley to deliver the easiest and most affordable ELD and IFTA tracking solution in the market," KeepTruckin CEO Shoaib Makani said. "Our partnership makes life easier for the owner operators and small fleets who work tirelessly to keep America moving."
This partnership comes a year before the federal ELD mandate is set to take effect in the United States. This new regulation will require most commercial motor carriers to switch from paper logs to ELDs for the purpose of recording their hours of service data.
