Follow the Uncle Sam Van in Boston this Summer for a Free Breakfast and a Chance to Win VIP Tickets to See the Boston Red Sox

BOSTON, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Attune Foods today announced that it will offer free, healthy breakfasts featuring the company's Uncle Sam cereal throughout Boston during the summer of 2010.  Founded in 1908, Uncle Sam is an American original healthy cereal and the free breakfasts are a thank you to the city of Boston, home to Uncle Sam cereal.  The meals will feature the Uncle Sam cereal, fruit, low fat milk and yogurt.  Bostonians can look for the Uncle Sam van at various locations in the Boston area throughout the summer, including retail outlets and various community events.  In addition to receiving a free breakfast, patrons can also sign up to win free VIP Red Sox tickets, four months of free Uncle Sam cereal as well as a private breakfast for up to 50 people.

Uncle Sam cereal is still made with the original 1908 recipe.  The cereal offers 10 grams of fiber, less than 1 gram of sugar per serving, and includes only recognizable, natural ingredients.  According to the American Heart Association, adults are recommended to consume up to 35 grams of fiber each day.  Starting a day with Uncle Sam cereal gives an adult up to 30% of the recommended daily intake per serving in the first meal of the day.

Attune has partnered with another American Original since 1908, the Boston Red Sox.  As part of this American Originals partnership, patrons can sign up at the Uncle Sam van events to win VIP tickets to a Boston Red Sox game.  VIP tickets include early entrance to the ballpark, batting practice attendance, a tour of the stadium and preferred seating.

People can also sign up at the Uncle Sam van events and locations to win four months of Uncle Sam cereal.  Businesses who are interested in having breakfasts served to up to 50 employees can send a request via the Uncle Sam Boston Brekkie Twitter page (@bostonbrekkie).  The Uncle Sam van will come to their office and serve a free, healthy breakfast to employees.
