NEW YORK, May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- At today's American Heart Association 2013 Wall Street Run & Heart Walk in New York City, bountiful flavors and wholesome Chilean nutrition will meet walkers' steps and runners' highs. The event is one of seven Heart Walk events that Foods from Chile will sponsor this year to help the AHA raise funds for cardiovascular research and education. The Foods from Chile team will be on hand to demonstrate unity with AHA's goals and help more than 15,000 participants learn to improve their cardiovascular fitness by enjoying the heart-healthy benefits of nutritious Chilean food.

One lucky Heart Walk participant will take home a Foods from Chile Cooking Kit, stocked with kitchen gadgets, heart-healthy recipe cards and tasty Chilean fare. The kit has been a crowd favorite at many Foods from Chile events.
