For Beatles Fans, The Long and Winding Road Leads Back to Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Feb. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Organizers of Abbey Road on the River are bringing the world's largest Beatles inspired music festival back to The Rock and Roll Capital Labor Day weekend, August 30-September 1, 2013. The festival originated in Cleveland in 2002 and then moved to Louisville three years later, so news of bringing it back to where it began is sure to excite Beatles fans and 35 bands from around the world who will come together for three days of peace, love, and rock-n-roll at Jacobs Pavilion at the Nautica Entertainment Complex.

What has now become the world's largest tribute festival to the Fab Four, Abbey Road on the River presents many different types of tribute bands from all over the world. Some bands look, sound, and perform exactly like the Beatles. Other bands play Beatles music accurately, and several will accurately recreate Beatles albums from "Please Please Me" through "Abbey Road." The festival also features Beatles-related speakers, film screenings, and the latest in Beatles merchandise.
