ForeSite Launches New Website for The Mark Twain House & Museum

EAST HARTFORD, Conn., June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mark Twain House & Museum will present a once-in-a-lifetime event with three of America's most popular writers- Mark My Words: An Evening with David Baldacci, John Grisham and Jodi Picoult.  ForeSite Technologies, a Web site design and IT support company, sponsored the event by developing and donating a promotional website (www.twainmarkmywords.com).

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 19th at 8:00 p.m. at Yale University and will unite the above authors in a conversation about their different works and the influence that Mark Twain had upon their writing.

To promote this unique event, ForeSite developed an easy-to-navigate website to engage fans and spark interest. The design of the website differs from the main Mark Twain House & Museum website to target fans of not only Twain, but of the participating authors as well. Visitors can learn about the participants, event details, and purchase tickets through the site.

Although this event will not be replicated, ForeSite was able to develop the website framework to be reusable, maximizing the value to The Mark Twain House & Museum so that it can be used in the future for other unique events.
