ZURICH, May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Forexus today announced they will be demoing their solution Chat eDiscovery, which extends the capabilities of Relativity, to attendees of the Relativity Spring Roadshow in London on May 3. Demos will be held at the evening reception of the Roadshow at the Grange St. Paul's Hotel beginning at 8 p.m.
Chat eDiscovery is a software solution designed to preprocess chat data before it is loaded into Relativity. One of the unique features of this product is the deduplication on the message level. Combined with the option to suppress potentially irrelevant messages (like system events or disclaimers), test data has shown that the total time required for review is cut by 40% in average.
Bloomberg, Lync, Skype and other instant messaging transcripts are now represented dynamically within Relativity, which allows the reviewer to decide on the fly what messages are relevant for the investigation and which can be suppressed—such as disclaimers, system messages or duplicate messages—in order to increase efficiency.
Dimitar Bobev, Partner at Forexus says: "There is no doubt that chat data is significant for every investigation, and because it is different from traditional unstructured documents, it requires a distinct approach for an efficient review. With Relativity we found a very flexible eDiscovery platform, which allows us to take the review of instant messages to the next level."
Relativity is a platform that allows litigation support professionals, independent consultants, and third-party software providers to design, build, and integrate applications to extend its functionality. Chat eDiscovery is newly featured in the Relativity Ecosystem, which includes best-in-breed integrations and highly customized products for customers to pick and choose the solutions that best suit their unique workflows.
"Forexus is doing some awesome work with the platform, and we're excited they'll be joining us in London next week," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "Chat eDiscovery really is unique—providing an easy workflow for managing, analyzing, and producing chat data with Relativity. As data volumes grow, variety does too, so we see this as a huge benefit for our customers."
