The late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, also known as 'THE LEGEND,' is recognized as the most lethal sniper in U.S. history, based on his four tours of duty in Iraq.
Forged® has maintained a close friendship with Chris and Taya Kyle for many years. In February 2013, Chris Kyle was killed by a Marine veteran with PTSD whom Kyle was trying to help at a shooting range in Texas. Prior to his death, Kyle co-authored the book American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, and was featured in the media for his efforts to help those veterans with PTSD recover.
In 2014, after the death of Chris Kyle, Forged® leveraged its resources and community to create The Legend Campaign, whose t-shirt sales benefitted widow Taya Kyle and the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. Forged® considers it an honor to be selected to provide this Official Licensed Apparel for both the motion picture and the foundation.
