Former CEO of Procter & Gamble Brazil Joins CEO Coaching International

Alberto Carvalho is a global business leader with extensive experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. He had a successful career of 26 years at Procter & Gamble that included serving as Vice President of Gillette's global business, as well as CEO of Procter & Gamble's Brazil operations. He has worked in 5 different countries, leading businesses ranging from $25 million to $3 billion in sales.

Alberto has delivered breakthrough results in emerging and developed markets, through acquisitions and divestitures, product innovation, and operations. He has led go-to-market initiatives with affluent and low-income consumers, marketing both small and major global brands, including during a major country-wide economic crisis. His portfolio included products in household, personal, grooming, baby, beauty care, and food & beverages. He was also CEO of the retail business Art of Shaving.

He has been a YPO member since 2003 in Chile, Argentina, the United States, and Brazil.

He lives between Miami and Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish and is an active athlete having completed several Ironman and marathon races.
