Former Governor John H. Sununu Joins Prime Access at DTC National
Calling for Greater Cooperation in Solving Nation's Health Care Challenges
Prime Access expands focus to reflect societal shifts on wellness
WASHINGTON, April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- John H. Sununu, former New Hampshire governor and chief of staff to President George H. W. Bush, joined Prime Access for remarks at the 2015 DTC National Advertising Conference luncheon on April 8, 2015.
Governor Sununu noted that America is now a country where new technologies are making a significant impact in policy development and in the grassroots of the political world. He explained that similar changes were occurring in the arena of public health.
"Surprisingly, these new technologies allow us to target groups on a large scale, but within those technologies we still have the capacity to find, deal, and work with individuals in a very personalized manner. The 'art form' within that science is knowing how to hone this capacity to achieve the reality of individualized communication and service."
Speaking to an audience of several hundred representatives of pharmaceutical and medical device companies and their advertising agencies, Governor Sununu urged health care companies to be targeted and precise in their approach to consumer heath education.
The luncheon was sponsored by Prime Access, a 9.8 Group company, to showcase the expansion of its focus to targeted consumer health and wellness clients.
A pioneer in diversity analytics, Prime Access advocates for data-driven targeted marketing among its peers and clients. Research consistently shows that no consumer has a one-dimensional cultural identity. Consumers are multi-faceted, and this cultural complexity influences how wellness decisions are made.
"Health care advertisers have to account for the 'Total Market' when planning advertising campaigns," says Prime Access's CEO John (Chip) Weinstein. "The Total Market means not simply creating advertising that includes faces of different colors, but creating advertising that accounts for the many nuances and variations of people that comprise the American experience. Race is important, but so is how people relate to technology, their education level and many other factors."
Prime Access plans to use proprietary research, content and unique strategic partnerships to help clients better understand these 'cultural catalysts' and achieve greater consumer engagement. "Developing this framework is one of my key priorities, and builds on the agency's 20 year track record of success."
