Former Homeless Man, Akbar Sheikh, Is Now Growing Seven-Figure Businesses

Oddly enough, only three years ago, Akbar was essentially homeless – living in the back of an old electrical room in the city of San Francisco - using a broken TV as a coffee table and sleeping on the floor at times.

I couldn't take care of my family living like this. And I couldn't contribute to this beautiful society I saw everyday while living inside an electrical room."

So he decided to pick himself up, and make something great out of life.
"Starting from nothing is hard, so you just got to start with what skills God gave you and go from there."
Akbar started helping small startups scale their businesses online as the Internet was his background before his homeless stage.
He said, "I had to study all through the night and work all through the day to catch up on technology and keep clients happy. Sleep was for homeless people, or at least that's what I told myself to keep motivated."
In short time, one successful small client led to a bigger client and then a bigger client and then a bigger client. Within a few years Akbar was, all of the sudden, seen as an expert in his field.
"I seriously couldn't believe it when someone offered me an executive marketing position for their growing startup," Akbar said recalling his path to helping build seven-figure businesses. "This is the power of the internet and the power of our economy."
