The former IBM client director of business analytics in the north central region, King will build a staff of experienced Cognos consultants to deliver business intelligence value to clients.
King's extensive performance management background includes his most recent position at IBM and two years at Cognos before its purchase by IBM, which complements Pragmatek's SAP analytics expertise. The enhanced practice will help clients to deepen their skills sets in financial planning activities, including budgets, forecasts, dashboards, and scorecards.

Prior to his IBM and Cognos positions, King was a director of technology for United Health Care Group in Minneapolis. His broad consulting experience includes: director of business intelligence for Answerthink in New York City, vice president of data warehousing for Renaissance Solutions in Indianapolis, and senior manager of Andersen Consulting's data warehousing practice in New York City.
King holds a bachelor's degree from State University of New York. He is a member of the Data Warehousing Society and American Management Association. He resides in Elk River, Minn.
