It all depends on who you ask.
But according to popular author, economist, and Bible researcher, Jerry Robinson, the answer is a resounding "YES!"
In a controversial new video entitled, "Is Your Faith in Man or God?" Robinson questions the aims of politically-driven Christianity and challenges American Christians to reconsider placing "their faith, hope, and trust" into the political system.
According to Robinson, politically-driven Christians believe that "by getting prayer back into school… voting for a particular political party… and by forcing for-profit corporations to accommodate their religious convictions… they can transform the nation, thereby taking it back for God."
Instead, Robinson, who is the founder of Jerry Robinson Ministries International and a former Jehovah's Witness, argues that:
- Christians should pray with their own children at home instead of depending upon government-controlled institutions to teach their children spiritual values.
- Christians should seek creative ways of promoting their own faith and principles instead of depending upon a secular culture and for-profit corporations to promote the Christian religion.
- Christians should follow the words of the Bible and "take joy" in their persecution instead of resorting to legal action against their oppressors, whenever possible.
This free video teaching is part of a new weekly series, produced by Jerry Robinson Ministries International, and is designed to encourage Christians in an era plagued by growing political, corporate, and religious corruption. Learn more online at http://jrmi.org.
