Former Milliman Principal Daniel Santmyer Joins ValueOptions as Senior Vice President, Data Analytics and Reporting Services

NORFOLK, Va., March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ValueOptions^®, Inc., a health improvement company specializing in mental and emotional wellbeing, substance use and recovery, announced that former Milliman senior consultant Daniel Santmyer has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Data Analytics and Reporting Services.

In this role, Santmyer will provide vital leadership to ValueOptions' Data Analytics Services division, closely partnering with the company's market leaders to develop and implement new analytics products and services.

Prior to joining ValueOptions, he served as a principal and consulting actuary for Milliman, one of the world's largest actuarial providers known for their rigorous commitment to excellence. Previously, Mr. Santmyer worked as Vice President of National Account Pricing, Client Reporting, and Client Consulting for WellPoint, Inc. Before joining WellPoint, Mr. Santmyer served as Senior Director of Group Pricing at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
