A former NBCUniversal executive with an extensive career in the television industry, Hunt will oversee Viamedia's strategic development and affiliate relations team focused on growth and new business opportunities for the organization.
Most recently, Hunt spent over 15 years as a key executive for NBCUniversal most recently as Senior Vice President in their distribution group. In his role he was responsible for the distribution and marketing of some of the top industry brands: NBC, Telemundo, USA, Syfy, Bravo, E!, CNBC, MSNBC, Golf, NBC Sports and many others. Additionally, Hunt was a key player in the development and execution of the London Olympic marketing campaign which led to the highest rated Olympics ever and delivered an industry record of 10 million authenticated on-line viewers.
In addition to his success at NBCUniversal, Hunt also developed and sold in some of the most successful integrated affiliate marketing campaigns in the industry. He is a proven innovator who was recognized by his peers by winning 9 Promax awards and 12 CTAM Mark Awards including the highest CTAM honor the Top-Of-The-Mark for USA's Charter's Unite campaign. Prior to his tenure at NBCUniversal, Hunt was the Vice President and General Manager for TCI Media Services in the New York DMA where he ran one of the top revenue per subscriber operations in the industry.
Hunt has served on the Board of CTAM as Vice Chairman and has also served on the Cabletelevision Adverting Bureau (CAB) board.
