Former Nourish Snacks CEO Zubin Mehta Launches Born Wild Brands

NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Zubin Mehta, the former CEO of Nourish Snacks, today announced the launch of Born Wild Brands.  Under his leadership and alongside several CPG veterans and partners, the new firm will focus exclusively on incubating and partnering with emerging food and beverage brands.  The firm will be focused on developing inspirational, disruptive brands and partnering with passionate, visionary early-stage entrepreneurs to help them execute on their visions.

Zubin Mehta is the Founder & CEO of Born Wild Brands.  Prior to founding Born Wild Brands, he was the CEO of Nourish Snacks, where he oversaw and led the launch of the better-for-you snack brand in a multi-channel strategy (e-commerce, retail and food service) and oversaw substantial growth from inception.  Prior to his role at Nourish Snacks, he was the seed investor and lead director of Revolabs (sold to Yamaha) and a seed investor in Rethink First.  Prior to becoming a seed/VC investor, He worked in private equity at Lindsay Goldberg & Bessemer and as a M&A investment banker at Warburg Dillon Read.  Mr. Mehta received his BA in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia College in New York City.
