Former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo Joins Torridon Law and Torridon Group

Secretary Pompeo brings over three decades of experience in the public and private sector, including service in the Trump administration as the 70th U.S. Secretary of State and the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, as well as being elected to four terms in Congress representing the Fourth District of Kansas. As a member of Congress, he served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Intelligence Committee.

Secretary Pompeo graduated first in his class at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986, after which he served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain before the fall of the Berlin Wall. He also served with the 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry in the U.S. Army's Fourth Infantry Division.

After leaving active duty, Secretary Pompeo graduated from Harvard Law School, having been an editor of the Harvard Law Review, and was an associate in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Williams & Connolly LLP.
