Former South Carolina Football Captain Debo Williams Launches Spendher Hotline, a Mobile App for Real-Time Advice and Premium Connections
SMYRNA, Del., Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Former University of South Carolina standout and two-time team captain Debo Williams has officially launched Spendher Hotline, a mobile app designed to connect people seeking advice with real individuals who can provide it through private messaging, exclusive content, and on-demand support.
Williams, who earned First Team All-SEC honors and served as a permanent captain for the Gamecocks, is taking lessons from his athletic career into the tech and business world. "Coming from Smyrna, Delaware, people told me I'd never even see the field in the SEC. To go from that to being a two-time captain showed me that with faith, discipline, and consistency, you can accomplish anything," Williams said.
That mindset carried him into a new venture after going undrafted in the NFL. "The moment I went undrafted was painful, but it fueled me," Williams explained. "I prayed for fire and God answered with the idea for Spendher Hotline. It's about impact, not just income. I want to build generational wealth while creating something that helps people every day."
About Spendher Hotline
Unlike traditional hotlines, Spendher Hotline offers a wide range of support — from mentorship and lifestyle advice to personal conversations — all powered by real people, not AI.
Key Features:
- For Advice Seekers: Private chats, exclusive photo and video content, and instant access to people who can provide advice or simply listen.
- For Advice Givers: A flexible platform to offer private chats, share content, and set personal rates for services — with full control over identity and workload.
"Spendher Hotline is like Google or Reddit, but with real people behind the answers," Williams explained. "This is a bridge for mentorship, mental health, and genuine conversation — something that's never been done before."
Williams emphasizes that the platform is designed to empower both users and contributors. "Seekers get instant help, and givers gain a space to share expertise, protect their identity if they choose, and control their earnings. It's truly built for both sides of the equation."
Apparel Line
In addition to the app, Williams has launched Spendher Hotline Apparel, a fashion line featuring men's and women's styles, including shirts and sweats. Designed in collaboration with his longtime friend Izaiah Credel, the apparel extends the brand's lifestyle presence.
"The rose logo we created symbolizes growth and resilience," Williams said. "It's more than just merchandise — it's part of the culture we're building around Spendher."
Looking Ahead
Williams envisions Spendher Hotline becoming the #1 mobile app in the world within the next five years. His ambitions extend beyond business success: "If this app helps even one person change their life for the better, I've done my job. But I also believe it can reach millions, even billions. I want to show my generation — and especially athletes — that even when sports don't go your way, there are other ways to achieve greatness."
Availability
Spendher Hotline is now available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. Apparel can be purchased at spendherapp.com/apparel.
