Former Twitch Executive Matthew DiPietro Appointed CMO of Kin

WATERLOO, Ontario, Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Kin Ecosystem Foundation, the nonprofit governance organization for the cryptocurrency Kin, in conjunction with Kik Interactive Inc., maker of the popular chat platform Kik, today announced the appointment of Matthew DiPietro as chief marketing officer (CMO). Formerly senior vice president of marketing at popular live streaming platform Twitch, DiPietro will lead marketing and brand strategy for Kin and its associated products and services, including the Kin Developer Program.

Starting as the only marketing employee at Twitch, DiPietro successfully grew the team to more than 40 people working on brand marketing, communications, content marketing, creative services, events, and product marketing.

The announcement comes on the heels of Kin's increasing momentum in the space.
