Forrest Keeling Nursery to Expand Production of RPM® Plant Material
Patented technology proven to significantly increase tree, shrub and plant survivability and growth rate
ELSBERRY, Mo., June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Forrest Keeling Nursery (FKN), announces today that it is once again the sole source for all Root Production Method® (RPM) trees, bushes, perennials, and grasses. "For the past four years we tried an alternative approach to the U.S. market, splitting up sales responsibility and production between two organizations. This approach did not serve the 'non-FKN' customers well, so as of today, all production and U.S. sales for RPM products resides, once again, exclusively with FKN," stated Wayne Lovelace, President and CEO. "We are looking forward to leveraging our recent R&D efforts into these markets and rejuvenating our relationships with industry friends and partners," explained Kim Young, Vice President and General Manager.
Over the past few years, FKN has solidified its scientific analysis, as well as its economic and ecologic modeling for a broad range of RPM applications. Additionally, RPM has now been applied to over 300 species of trees, bushes, perennials and grasses. Wayne Lovelace comments that, "We have focused our R&D on an expanding global portfolio of products including fruit, nuts, regional species, biomass generation, timber, and solutions for the world's developing markets." The global initiatives in reforestation, advanced biofuels, timber production, carbon sequestration, poverty, and hunger are favorably impacted by the superiority of RPM technology over alternatives.
Ms. Young continues, "We look forward to working with growers, governments and institutions both here in the United States as well as abroad to extend the benefits of trees and plants produced with our patented RPM technology." RPM trees' advanced growth rate produce sustainable forests in half the time while sequestering three times the carbon. The accelerated growth profile develops nuts and fruit in significantly less than normal required time periods. To read more, please go to www.rpmglobalsolutions.com or www.fknursery.com .
