Forty Creek Distillery Announces Sale of its Kittling Ridge Wine Brands & Wine Stores

TORONTO, Feb. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - John K. Hall, Owner, President & CEO of Forty Creek Distillery is proud to announce the sale of his Kittling Ridge wine division to Magnotta Winery Estates.

Magnotta Winery has assumed Kittling Ridge's wine store licenses as well as the Kittling Ridge Wine portfolio.

Hall stated "he will continue to operate and expand his Forty Creek Distillery in Grimsby, Ontario producing quality spirits such as Forty Creek Whisky, Prince Igor Vodka, and others.

Hall stated "Our workforce and our business have grown considerably and our employee's passion and commitment will continue to drive our on-going success.  We'll continue to build our brands and develop new offerings by working in close partnership with our retail customers. "

Hall recently rebranded his company, renaming it Forty Creek Distillery.  "We believe our new name better reflects our growth over the past 20 years, and our forward vision to produce handcrafted, Canadian-made spirits," says John Hall.

Hall remarks "While being a winemaker has been satisfying, I am very excited to now devote all my time to whisky making and my distillery. I believe my whisky journey has just begun and there are many more good things to come. "
