Foster Group Announces Organizational Changes To Build An Enduring Company

DES MOINES, Iowa and OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Foster Group Inc., an independent, fee-only advisory firm providing a holistic approach to wealth management and financial planning as well as traditional investment and portfolio management offerings, announced today that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Foster, has assumed a new role as Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Foster will serve in an advisory and accountability role to ensure clients are getting optimum returns on their investments. He also will function as a mentor to the firm's key leaders. He will be a more involved member of the community and an ambassador to the industry as an active board member, developing actionable insights for every shareholder leading Foster Group.

In addition to Mr. Foster's new role, the firm announced that its longtime President, Mark Stadtlander, has assumed the role of the firm's Chief Executive Officer. The changes are all part of Foster Group's growth strategy to build on its commitment to creating a firm that will serve both current and future generations of clients with a solid continuity of leadership.

• Buck Olsen, Chief Marketing Officer
• Kent Kramer, Chief Investment Officer

In addition, four employees were named shareholders in the firm: Travis Rychnovsky, COO; Ross Polking, COO of Foster Group's Omaha office; Joe Bantz, Lead Advisor; and Brad Rempe, Lead Advisor. Katie Lauer of the firm's Client Services Team is now an Associate Advisor.

The new roles became effective Jan. 1.
