TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Just last weekend, Drug-Free World attended the Gasparilla Race and Health Expo at the Tampa Convention Center, not only providing a booth with information on its message but also including 20 runners in the race who wore the Foundation's logo.
Roxanne Siero, the Executive Director for the Foundation for a Drug-Free World Florida said, "It is up to all of us to get the truth about the harmful effects of drugs to every corner of society where drugs have taken root and are destroying lives. In order to achieve this, we have partnered with 115 other like-minded organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area since our opening in July last year."
Additionally, since the beginning of 2016 alone, some 1,400 people have visited the Foundation's information center in downtown Clearwater while Foundation staff and volunteers have distributed some 40,000 Truth About Drugs booklets.
Siero's message and actions are inspired by the research and discovery of Scientology Founder and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard who stated, "The single most destructive element in these societies is drugs."
